Senior Luncheon @ Salamonie Lake

August 7 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join Upper Wabash Interpretive Services for the Senior Luncheon at Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center. Guests ages 50 and older are invited to enjoy a carry-in meal and hear from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives Cale Coryell and Chase Wilson about the Sustainable Rivers Program and efforts to improve the health of the Upper Wabash River.

The Sustainable Rivers Program is a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, The Nature Conservancy, and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources focused on restoring and protecting river ecosystems while maintaining important benefits for communities.

The program begins with a meal at noon. Hot slider sandwiches will be provided; guests are asked to bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their own table service. A donation will be accepted to help cover costs. Seating is limited, and reservations are required.
