Nothing beats the Indiana heat better than ice cream! Wabash County has plenty of options for every taste, from a classic soft serve with sprinkles to mangonada.🍦 This blog will be written from my perspective and I will highlight my favorite cold treats from every ice cream shop in Wabash County. I hope you are hungry, we have a lot to tackle!

Canal Creamery
Canal Creamery has gourmet ice cream with 12 rotating flavors, so you won’t want to miss out on your favorite flavors while they are in the case. My all-time favorite is Honey Lavender with a scoop of Zesty Lemon, but I also love the Butter Toasted Pecan, Fried Corn, and Spearmint Chocolate chip.
Chillz Delights
Chillz Delights has so many great options. My go-to order is Amaretto Cherry in a bowl with chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and a cherry! My second go-to order is a tried and true chocolate milkshake!
For Goodness Shakes
For Goodness Shakes is a Food Truck with a cool mission, they donate 33% of their profits to local missions and charities. My go-to order is a hot fudge sundae but a close second is a bowl of “Exhausted Parent” ice cream which is coffee ice cream with chocolatey goodness swirled throughout.
Grand’s Ice Cream Shoppe
Grand’s has SO many flavors of Philadelphia Water which is a kind of frozen treat like none other! My go-to order is Root Beer flavored Philadelphia Water with vanilla custard soft serve. If I want to change things up I will get cotton candy Philadelphia Water with vanilla custard.
Ice Cream & Candy Shoppe
At the Ice Cream & Candy Shoppe at Charley Creek Inn, my go-to order is bubble gum ice cream in a cup! Yum! While you are there be sure to grab some chocolate or retro candy!
In-Laws Catering & Creamery
In-Laws Catering & Creamery is tucked away in downtown Roann, they have a case of yummy flavors of hand-dipped ice cream. My go-to order is the lemon sorbet in a cup, it is so light and refreshing on a hot day.
Kelly’s Ice Cream
I have been going to Kelly’s Ice Cream since I was a little girl so for me Kelly’s is nostalgia. Nostalgia for me is a simple but yummy vanilla soft serve with extra rainbow sprinkles. My second favorite is a bowl of pineapple Dole Whip!
La Morenita
La Morenita is a brand-new Mexican grocery store in downtown North Manchester. They also have a variety of ice cream and fruit sorbets. My go-to order is Mangonada, which is mango sorbet, with chamoy, tajin, and fresh mango chunks on top, it is the perfect mix of sweet and savory and it absolutely delicious!
White Rock Recreation
I LOVE a good ol’ classic Banana Split with hand-dipped vanilla ice cream. My go-to order at White Rock is a Banana Split with hand-dipped vanilla!
