Late Night Lit Lounge
Join us for the first Lit Lounge of 2026! Adults can claim a cozy reading spot starting at 5 PM, enjoy snacks, enter giveaways (beginning at 5:30), and participate in trivia at 7 PM for fun prizes and ARC copies. Stay for a bit or the whole evening—this after-hours event is just for grown-up book lovers.
Debut your original music or perform a favorite cover song on the stage in the Eagles Theatre Ballroom. Invite your family and friends to and enjoy a casual evening of live music. All ages and abilities are welcome!
• Sign up begins at 5:30 pm – first come, first served
• Maximum three songs per person
• Keyboard, guitar amp, and PA provided (microphone/direct box)
• Perform live or with a track recording (bring CD/Phone)

Join us at the Winchester Senior Center for a fun and creative afternoon in partnership with Living Well in Wabash County! We’ll be making beautiful beaded keychains, with two design options to choose from. This colorful, hands-on project is easy to personalize and perfect for all ability levels.
All supplies are provided, and age is not a restriction. Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxed, creative time together.

In-person Inventors Club! This week, your elementary-aged kids can do STEAM experiments and projects at the library. Geared toward ages 7-11, these hands-on STEAM activities will be held in our children’s program room from 4:00 to 5:00.

Pick up a take-home kit and experiment with gravity, water, aeronautics, physics, and other STEAM-related activities. Kits are located in the children’s room and are geared toward grades K-5. While supplies last.
Our Home School Science Club this month will be a field trip to the 50 East Greenhouse at 5233 South 50 East, Wabash.
Don’t forget you must register all of your students at least 48 hours in advance, as we need to know how many supplies to prepare. Look for our yellow calendar on the library website, or call us at the library to get registered.
WCPL’s Home School Science Club meets monthly to provide a science class for any homeschool student from the area in grades 1 through 6. The events are free.
