Fall Book Club: The Women
November 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
This month’s book club pick is The Women by Kristin Hannah. Join Manchester High School English teacher Erin Sapusek at the Wabash Woman’s Clubhouse for a lively discussion about this compelling story of friendship, resilience, and the ties that bind.
A few copies of the book are available at the library’s Adult Services desk. You can also check out “The Women” at WCPL or through Libby and Hoopla before the discussion.

In-person Inventors Club! This week, your elementary-aged kids can do STEAM experiments and projects at the library. Geared toward ages 7-11, these hands-on STEAM activities will be held in our children’s program room from 4:00 to 5:00.
Enjoy an evening of heartfelt Americana beneath the library’s stained glass dome with Indiana songwriter Kevin Stonerock.
A seasoned performer and storyteller, Stonerock weaves tales of small towns, open roads, and everyday heroes through his original songs. His music—rich with warmth, humor, and a touch of nostalgia—has been praised as “pure Americana gold dust.”
Join us for a night of authentic, toe-tapping tunes and vivid storytelling that celebrates the heart and history of the Midwest.

Our Home School Science Club this month is presented by Science Central on the topic “What’s the Matter?” This event will be held in the Wabash Carnegie Public Library’s Children’s Program Room.
Don’t forget you must register all of your students at least 48 hours in advance, as we need to know how many supplies to prepare. Look for our yellow calendar on the library website, or call us at the library to get registered.
WCPL’s Home School Science Club meets monthly to provide a science class for any homeschool student from the area in grades 1 through 6. The events are free.
Bring your gently used books to trade with others at this Book Swap, organized and run by our Friends of the Library group.
