Homeschool Nature Journaling: Introduction

Nature journaling is a wonderful way to observe the world around you and capture your impressions while still leaving no trace. It blends creativity with mindfulness, helping you notice details in the environment you might otherwise overlook.

Local nature journalist Joanna Erbaugh will lead an introductory session on the art of Nature Journaling for homeschool students, sharing her favorite tips, tricks, and go‑to resources. Participants will have plenty of time to experiment with sketching, note‑taking, and simple observation exercises. Free nature journals will be available while supplies last.
