Books Tasting: Cupcakes & Children’s Books

Described as “literary speed dating”, NMPL Book Tastings will help adult readers broaden their reading horizons and discover exciting new book adventures. Participants will have the chance to sample a variety of books in 5 minute time increments, and when the bell sounds, they can decide to bring the book home, try another title, or do both. Explore new authors, genres, and series that you might not have tried before. No more complaints of, “I don’t have anything to read!” Plus we’ll have hot tea and delicious homemade goodies to sample!

Book Menu:
It’s a busy time of year, so this is the perfect time for a quick read. Sample a variety of outstanding juvenile chapter books, from award winning authors!

Cupcakes Menu:
🥓 Maple Bacon Cupcakes – Maple Bacon Cupcakes are a deliciously sweet and salty treat. With a moist cake base and fluffy maple buttercream frosting, these are a must have dessert!
🍁 Maple Spiced Cupcakes – Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove make up these perfectly spiced cupcakes with sweet maple frosting!
🍩 Donut Muffins – These buttery treats taste just like an old fashioned donut rolled in cinnamon and sugar!
