The 5th Annual Night Market

When the sun goes down, the library lights up. Crisp air, warm lights, and the scent of seasonal treats drifting through the stacks. NMPL’s Night Market returns for its fifth year, adding in a special twist: The library is staying open later to accommodate the glowing, special marketplace filled with handcrafted goods, comforting flavors, and the creative spirit of our community!

Wander down the main hall visiting tables of local artisans offering one‑of‑a‑kind treasures: cozy home décor, fall‑inspired crafts, baked delights, unique fashion pieces, and more. This year’s vendor lineup features some new and returning favorites and we are so excited for each one!

Alongside the shopping, enjoy free Glow in the Dark activities that make the night unforgettable: glowing yard games, a glow-in-the-dark scavenger hunt, glow-the-dark crafts, and all kinds of fun for all ages.

But what we’re REALLY excited to announce this year? An exciting opportunity to get to preview and play all the Arcade Games that well have at the library throughout the month of September and part of October! That’s right, we’re filling the Blocher Room with 12 arcade games and will be hosting multiple programs for people to come and enjoy them, but you’ll get to experience them first at the Night Market – and it’s free to play!
