Blue Sky Dogs
June 20 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
The Blue Sky Dogs capture the spirit of the Allman Brothers Band with authentic, high-energy Southern blues-rock. Led by guitarist Tom Kiefaber – who grew up in Wabash and whose father played with Dickey Betts in the ’60s – the band honors the legacy of Duane and Gregg Allman in every note. Their soulful, uplifting performances bring classic Allman Brothers Band hits to life, including “Ramblin’ Man,” “Whipping Post,” “Midnight Rider,” and more.
Since the early ’80s, 1964 The Tribute has thrilled audiences worldwide with what Rolling Stone Magazine has called the “Best Beatles Tribute on Earth.” 1964 takes audiences on a journey through a moment in music history that will live forever, featuring iconic songs like “Hey Jude,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Come Together,” “Let It Be,” and more.
Get ready to mix, pour, and create something amazing! In this hands-on Kids Candle Making program, young crafters will learn the basics of candle making from start to finish in a safe, guided, and age-appropriate way. We’ll explore how candles are made, then walk step-by-step through melting the wax, adding color and fragrance, pouring the candle, and learning what makes a candle turn out just right.
To celebrate the sights and smells of spring, each child will design their own custom candle and choose from two deliciously fun fragrances: Blueberry Jam, bursting with juicy berries and a hint of sweetness, or Sicilian Sea Breeze, a fresh and breezy scent inspired by sunny citrus gardens along the Italian coast.
Candles will be poured into beautiful blue containers, and best of all – kids get to take home the candle they made themselves! This creative experience builds confidence, introduces basic kitchen and craft skills, and lets kids express their creativity while making something they’ll be proud of.
