Wabash County is Worth The Drive

If you are visiting the Wabash area and need things to do then look no further. Here is a list of fun activities and things to do around town.

Parks & The Outdoors 

If the weather is nice and all you want to do is enjoy nature then Wabash has everything you need. Wabash county has several parks and trails for you to walk, run, or bike through. The Wabash River Trail  is 7 miles of paved trail from Wabash to Lagro. The Roann Park (which is currently under construction) will be a great place to hangout with multiple pavilions and fantastic playground equipment along with a splash pad. Warvel Park is located in the heart of North Manchester and sits on 10 acres of beautiful scenery with a waterfall, 6 new pickleball courts, 2 soccer fields, a skatepark, basketball hoops, and a playground. Trails & Adventure 

If your looking for more adventure and the thrill of hiking and finding scenic views then this is what your looking for. Salamonie has so much to offer from trails and waterfalls to camping and boating along with so much more. Mississinewa is another great place to get outdoors with a lot of the same activities available. There are so many beautiful scenic hikes and trail in Wabash County such as Asherwood Nature Preserve, Hathaway Preserve at Ross Run, Kissing Falls at Kokiwanee, and Three Falls at Three Falls Trail just waiting to be discovered. Shopping & Stores

There are so many small stores and shops to visit if the outdoors isn’t your thing. Wabash county has dozens of unique shops that have everything your looking for. Antique stores and thrift stores are fan favorites to the locals. There are so many great antique store such as Treasured Finds and Brimso’s antiques along with thrift stores like MoJ0’s Thrift & Booths or Lighthouse Mission. Each store has a different vibe and a different collection of items for sale. However if your looking for unique shopping opportunities, JoJo’s Olfactory & Co allows customers to create their own candles, lotions and more. Bellazo has a boutique full of amazing products, up cycled fashion for a good price, don’t forget to check out the accessories. Wine & Dine

Experiencing the great outdoors and walking through small town shops builds quite the appetite.  If your looking for fine dining, Wabash has multiple options for whatever your craving. Twenty, Market Street Grill, and Eugenia’s all have delicious menu’s created by amazing chefs. If your looking for something for the whole family, then there are still plenty of options to chose from such as Pizza King, Bubbles & Boba, and Habanero Grill & Cantina. Of corse Wabash also has the selection of fast-food items if your looking for something quick and easy to grab. There are so many other restaurants with different cuisines and menu items that just can’t fit onto the page.

Hotels & Airbnb’s

You can’t forget to plan where your going to stay while doing all these activities in Wabash. Wabash has a wide selection of hotels along with Airbnbs. One of the most popular hotels around is Charley Creek Inn, a beautiful hotel with a rich history. Wabash also has a Holiday Inn and a Hampton Inn.
