Meet Wabash County Fellowship Program Director

Alex Downard

Originally from Indianapolis, Alex Downard is a graduate of Manchester University in North Manchester, Indiana. After completing his education, Alex became deeply engaged in the Wabash County community, ultimately deciding to make it his permanent home. Taking on the position of Director of Implementation for the county’s comprehensive plan, IMAGINE ONE 85, Alex plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the Wabash County community.

Questa Education Foundation

The Wabash County Fellowship Program has partnered with the Questa Education Foundation for participating fellows to have the opportunity to earn student loan forgiveness through the support of our partner employers.

ABOUT QUESTA EDUCATION FOUNDATION:
Established in 1937, Questa Education Foundation provides affordable student loans and generous scholarships to support students in Northeast Indiana as they pursue postsecondary education. Since 2007, Questa has supported over 1,500 students from Northeast Indiana with financial awards to help them access further education and graduate with less debt. Through low-interest loans that are 50-100% forgivable, Questa helps students bridge the gap between the cost of college and their available financial resources.
