DRY SPARKLING WINE
Prosecco. Friexenet – Veneto, Italy

We’ll have a Community Table stocked with toys up for grabs – take one (or two!) and then either:

Ring in the new year a little earlier at the library with our annual Noon Year’s Eve Celebration! Perfect for families, this event gives kids the excitement of a countdown and the chance to celebrate – without staying up late!
Join us for a fun-filled program packed with activities for all ages. Dance along at the freeze dance party (with prizes!), get creative with a coloring page, listen to a festive story, and strike a pose in the photo booth with props. When the clock strikes noon, we’ll celebrate with a confetti-filled countdown that’s just as thrilling as midnight!

Navajo artist Emmi Whitehorse is known for her abstract paintings that mix melting colors with gestural marks. Her unique style reflects her Southwest surroundings and pays homage to the Navajo philosophy of Hózhó, which seeks to achieve a harmonious balance of life, mind, and body with nature. Homeschool students will enjoy learning about the life of this modern artist before using bleeding tissue paper to create art inspired by her creations.

All you need to bring is your imagination!

Step into a little world of winter magic! Over two sessions, we’ll build a miniature Christmas village nestled inside a 3D tree display.
During the first workshop, you’ll use clay and molds to sculpt your own tiny snowfolk, cottages, trees, and other charming pieces to bring your village to life. For our second session, we’ll paint, decorate, and assemble everything into one snowy, whimsical scene full of cozy holiday cheer.
