Weed Wrangle Volunteer Workday at Mississinewa Lake

Upper Wabash Invasives Network (UWIN) will host a Weed Wrangle at Mississinewa Lake
from 1 – 2 p.m., on April 26. The public are invited to attend this volunteer workday and should meet at the beach parking lot.
Volunteers will receive hands-on practice while helping to combat and remove invasive plant species along a designated area.
Invasive species ID will also be a part of the workday. Volunteers should dress for the weather, wear long-sleeved shirts, close-toed shoes, and bring work gloves. If you have hand tools, bring them (no chainsaws, please). Consider becoming a member of UWIN! Advance registration is appreciated by calling 260-468-2127.
Call to register, work 10 a.m. – noon, and receive a UWIN t-shirt.
