Disc Golf Tournament
February 1 @ 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Open to new and seasoned disc golf players of all ages, Eagles Take Flight Disc Golf Tournament is a place to spread your wings.
The tournament, a fundraising event, will be held Feb. 1 at Salamonie Lake’s disc golf course located in Lost Bridge West SRA. Fundraising is to support the upgrading of original baskets on holes one through nine.
Tee times are 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., two rounds of 25 holes at the newly expanded disc golf course.
Registration is available on Disc Golf Scene. Fees range from $10 to $50.
Sponsored by: Friends of Upper Wabash Interpretive Services, Wabash Engraving, Wabash Furniture and Flooring, and QC Communications. “We are pleased to host the second annual XC-tier, PDGA-sanctioned singles tournament Eagles Take Flight,” said Interpretive Manager Teresa Rody. “After expenses last year, more than ninety percent of registration funds went to care for the raptors of Salamonie Lake’s Raptor Center. This year that same high percentage will buy as many new baskets as possible for the original nine holes of the course.”
