Autumn Camping Weekend 1 at Mississinewa Lake

6:30 – 8:30 PM at Interpretive Program Shelter near the water tower
Weekend Welcome – Stop in for kettle corn. Donations appreciated. Register for events and weekend drawings. Pumpkins for purchase!
Bring on the Baskets – Donate a filled basket/items for the silent auction from your family or company. Auction items also available for bidding Sat. 8:30 – 10 AM at the Interpretive Shelter and 1 – 8:30 PM at the beach house. Everyone welcome to bid! Winning bidders must be present on Saturday at 8:30 PM to receive items. (cash, credit or check accepted)
Saturday, October 5
8:30 – 10 AM – Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser at Interpretive Program Shelter near the water tower. Fundraiser by Friends Mississinewa Lake. Donations appreciated.
1 – 3 PM – Woods on Wheels, Pumpkin Decorating, Crafts, and Corn Hole at Beach House*
Wood on Wheels: Come explore the unique mobile exhibit featuring informationon wood, trees, and Indiana forests.
Pumpkin Decorating: Pumpkins available for purchase or bring your own, washable paint provided.
Crafts: Visit several stations to make fun, outdoor-themed crafts to take home. Materials provided. (Children accompanied by adults.)
Corn Hole Tournament: $5 per person entry, double elimination.
4:30 – 5:30 PM – Trick-or-Treat in the Miami S.R.A. Modern Campground
Children accompanied by their adults will walk through the campground. Visitors allowed. (No gory costumes, please.) Campground roads closed to vehicle traffic from 4:15 – 5:45 p.m.
7 – 8:30 PM – TRIVIA at Beach House*
Test your knowledge in a fun game of TRIVIA! Play individually or in teams up to 8 people. Topics will be outdoor-themed (Indiana natural history, state parks and wildlife)
8:30 PM – Awards and Weekend Drawings at Beach House*
Winners for Campsite Decorating and Weekend Drawings will be announced.
Top 3 Campsite Decorating winners awarded free 2025 camping (holiday weekends, ACWs, cabins and AA sites excluded). Final bidding for Silent Auction ends at 8:30 PM.
Must be registered and present to win and receive items. (cash, credit or check accepted)
Cost is the entrance fee into the property: $7 per in-state vehicle; $9 per out-of-state vehicle
*Walk/drive or join a hayride. Hayride loading/drop-off at Beach House and Interpretive Program Shelter near the water tower.
