Spring Ephemeral Wildflower ID Walk

Join us at Salamonie Lake’s interpretive/nature center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA, April
13 at 1 p.m. for a Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Walk/Workshop. We’ll learn how to identify
native wildflowers. The workshop is expected to last approximately three hours.
Workshop presenter Jake Wyatt will share his knowledge of local wildflower species. Wyatt, an
Indiana Master Naturalist and Huntington County native, is passionate about native plants and
sharing his knowledge with others. The workshop will begin indoors with a brief introduction of field guide use. Participants will learn how to identify wildflowers by leaf and blossom.

– Dress for the weather; much of the time will be spent outside along trails.
– Cost is $7 per person, payable day of workshop.
– Advance registration is requested by calling 260-468-2127.
– This workshop is designed for adults and their teenaged children.
