Grow Wabash County’s Marketing Basics

FreeGrow Wabash County invites its investors and local business owners to take a crash course in marketing fundamentals with Angie Harrison on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
This “Marketing Basics” educational event will feature entrepreneurship coach, Angie Harrison, who will talk about how to strategize business development by utilizing the Lean Canvas approach.
This workshop will be hands-on, and will challenge business owners to creatively and intentionally think through several aspects such as customer segments, determining their target marketing, the problems they are solving, how they differ from competitors, reviewing revenue streams, and considerations of branding.
Harrison has an extensive background in the world of business and entrepreneurship, especially in the areas of retail management and community development. Her experience in education also shines through as she works in her current role as a coach for the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), where she mentors entrepreneurs and business owners at all stages in their business journey to start and maintain their businesses.
The “Marketing Basics” educational event will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21 in the Grow Wabash County community room, 214 South Wabash Street in Wabash. Attendance to this event is free, but registration is requested as space is limited.
