In this hands-on workshop\, artists will learn practical techniques for photographing their work clearly and accurately for online competition submissions\, portfolios\, and personal record keeping. \nThis workshop will focus on photographing 2D artwork and will cover lighting\, camera setup\, image clarity\, color balance\, cropping\, and common mistakes that can make artwork look less polished or simply different than it does in person. \nParticipants should bring the camera they normally use\, whether that is a smartphone\, digital camera\, or tablet. This workshop will focus on unframed 2D pieces. Framed artwork with glass will not be covered in this session. \nArtists will leave with a better understanding of how to create clean\, accurate images for applications\, portfolios\, websites\, and long-term documentation.
